As the stages progress the buffs will also increase. You need to unequip and then equip your Haki in order to see if your Haki has been upgraded. When a player's Haki upgrades, it will not notify you however you can see visual changes. Make sure that when you are training it, you have it turned on, or else it won't work. Buso Haki can be trained by hitting enemies with your melee style and sword by clicking and not using the skills or by getting hit by enemies ( Observation Haki).
